Music Appreciation-
This trip will take students through the journey, history and the contributions that African Americans have made towards American Music, starting with 2nd generation slaves and continuing to modern day music idioms: Rock, Jazz, Pop. The event will be held at the PeaceLove Cafe. A musical performance with history and demonstration of the instruments.
Healthy Food
This trip will take students through the journey of healthy eating . What is organic, what is all natural.? Where does food come from? . Reading of Labels. Our environment. Fun discussion of healthy choices and demands of having it in your community. Everyone will create their own healthy smoothie.
